Due to company expansion, Artemis CCD Ltd are looking to employ an Administration and Marketing Assistant to help with these growing areas of the business. This will be a diverse and exciting role for someone that’s able thrive within a small team and adapt to a variety of different tasks.  Artemis CCD designs and manufactures cameras for astronomy and scientific markets.

Job Description

The successful candidate will monitor sales and produce detailed reports in order to identify potential marketing opportunities. They will communicate with our dealers and be able to feedback information to our R+D and Marketing teams. In addition to this, you will be responsible for entering invoices onto our accounts system, arranging the return of cameras for repair and subsequent re-export to customers and dealers worldwide, adhering to all necessary customs requirements. You’ll receive training in the sales, invoicing and shipping of cameras to both our dealers and OEM customers, and provide assistance in these areas when required.


A good understanding and interest in interpreting data is essential to this role. The desire and ability to understand the changing needs and expectations of our customers and adapt your communications appropriately is also important. An interest in astronomy or technology would be advantageous, along with a willingness to develop a detailed understanding of our products over time.

You will have a friendly and approachable manner and a flexible approach to meet the changing needs of the business. You’ll have great organisational and record-keeping skills, be fully computer literate and able to learn new software packages if required. Previous experience in a customer-facing role would be desirable, along with some experience in relevant areas, such as:

  •       Quickbooks or similar accounting software
  •       Microsoft Office
