Moving forward…

Atik was founded in 2006 to bring affordable, high-performance cameras to amateur astronomers. Over the following years we brought out a range of iconic products that have proved extremely popular. Atik has also been involved with laboratory imaging and these two aspects helped the company to grow successfully. The company today is very different from that of 2006 and it is becoming increasingly difficult to serve both astronomers and scientists under the same brand.

With this in mind we are moving our Astronomy business to our QSI brand. New CMOS cameras will be coming to QSI which will expand on QSI’s premium, integrated approach. Atik cameras will still be sold but no new cameras for Astronomers will be released under the Atik brand.

Our customers will benefit from an increased level of commitment from our business. As a result, you can expect the highest quality products that meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. Our company understands that customer loyalty is based on trust and confidence. Therefore, we are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction during this transition.

We are grateful to all our Atik customers whose support has made us feel humble in so many ways. We look forward to introducing you to the upcoming QSI products over the next few months and continuing our relationship.
