XGbE-26

10 GbE Camera

XGbE-26

The second model of the XGbE Series. Operating as a native 10 GbE IP device, it integrates effortlessly into SSA/SDA and scientific network infrastructures. Engineered for high-density, multi-camera installations, it ensures reliable performance and absolute synchronization across complex imaging networks at an optimized scale.

Built around the Sony IMX571 APS-C CMOS sensor, the XGbE-26 delivers high-resolution 6248 × 4176 imagery with the bandwidth headroom to stream uncompressed frames across distributed observation networks.

  • SFP+: Ethernet connectivity up to 10 Gb/s
  • Network-based architecture
  • Liquid-cooled version available
  • Sony IMX571 APC-C CMOS sensor
  • GPS synchronization
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

Designed
to scale.

The XGbE-26 is engineered for maximum camera density per server. It operates within a coordinated cluster over a high-throughput Ethernet backbone, allowing each unit to stream independently over its own 10 Gb/s SFP+ link. This eliminates the traditional cabling limitations and bandwidth bottlenecks of USB or daisy-chained systems.

By generating the most efficient file sizes from its 26 MP sensor, an aggregating switch can consolidate a higher number of XGbE-26 units simultaneously. It forwards the traffic to the main acquisition server over a 100 Gb/s QSFP uplink, with a parallel path to a redundant backup server, allowing you to deploy a much larger, synchronized array of sensors under the same host infrastructure.

A GPS reference feeds precise timestamps and synchronization signals into the server, ensuring frame-level temporal alignment across every camera in the cluster.

For comprehensive situational awareness, the XGbE-26 can be seamlessly combined with the XGbE-60 within the same cluster architecture, allowing operators to mix full-frame wide-field coverage with high-density sensor grids under a single synchronized network.

More than a camera, a powerful imaging platform.

Designed for continuous, long-distance deployment, each XGbE-26 can be individually managed and scaled linearly. Features include integrated LED signaling for instant visual alerts and a liquid-cooled version designed specifically for environments where maintaining a strict sensor temperature is critical to data fidelity.
