Announcement regarding QSI (Quantum Scientific Imaging)

Quantum Scientific Imaging (QSI) and Atik’s parent company, Scientific Digital Imaging (SDI), have announced that SDI is considering acquiring assets from QSI, including camera designs.

At Atik, we very much welcome these negotiations. We hope they will provide some confidence to QSI customers that the QSI brand will have a bright future within a group that understands Astronomy.

As is inevitable at this stage, there will be many more questions than answers, and we’ll release more information as and when it becomes available. Please join us in wishing both sides well in the negotiations and we look forward to welcoming QSI to the group.
